Great replication of the old world map, originally made by Joseph Moxon in 1681.
Moxon's world map shows a Christian picture of the world as it was known when the map was made, in the title text it says, among other things: A map of the earth and how it was divided between Noah's sons after the flood.
The map contains some Hebrew characters, and also some important biblical places which are shown by name on the map. Most other places are marked with a number and then written below.
In the top panel of the world map you can find the stories of creation, or as they are also called The Seven Days of Creation. And the bottom panel shows the Expulsion from Paradise, the Flood, the Tower of Babel, God speaking to Moses, the Ten Commandments, the Crucifixion and the Ascension.

An exciting element on the map is New Denmark, an area with this title marked in the Canadian province of Manitoba. New Denmark may have been marked on the basis of the failed colonization of the area by Captain Jens Munk in 1619. Unfortunately, the settlement did not become permanent and only had a short lifespan, as the winters were far too harsh on the inhabitants.
